Local by design
Rydd scans and acts on the Mac where it is running. It does not upload file names, paths, application lists, scan totals, device information, or operation history.
Rydd Privacy

Cleanup needs visibility into local files, not visibility into you.
No account, analytics, or telemetry
Rydd has no account system, analytics SDK, advertising identifier, telemetry service, remote crash reporter, or background agent. The app does not profile how it is used.
Operation history
Rydd stores a small local history under ~/Library/Application Support/Rydd. Each receipt contains only the action, date, item count, success and failure counts, and total size. It does not contain file names or paths. History can be cleared inside the app.
Permissions
Full Disk Access is needed for complete cleanup coverage because macOS otherwise hides some caches and app remnants. Rydd checks the current status and can open the correct System Settings pane, but it cannot grant the permission itself. You decide whether to enable or revoke it, and denied locations are skipped.
Network use
The private beta does not perform automatic update checks, and there is currently no public version manifest. A future public release may check a small file at verkheim.com for version and build information without sending device or usage data.
Feedback
If you choose Send Feedback, Rydd opens your default mail app with a subject line. It does not attach logs or file information automatically. You decide what to include.
