Know what is safe, and what deserves a second look.
Rydd checks bounded locations for rebuildable caches, older logs, development leftovers, and installer files. Suggested items are separate from anything that may hold personal work.

No cleaning begins when Rydd opens, and no giant total is paired with a single vague button.

DMG, PKG, MPKG, and XIP files are listed by size. Recent downloads stay unselected.
The important second half
Remove the app. Review the remnants.
Dragging an app to Trash can leave caches, preferences, logs, saved state, launch items, and support data behind. Rydd finds exact matches and explains the risky ones.
No vendor-wide guessing.
Bundle identifiers and specific app names drive the search. Generic words and Apple system apps are rejected.
A polite quit first.
If the selected app is open, Rydd asks it to quit before moving the checked items.
Review means review.
Application Support, scripts, and containers can hold irreplaceable work. Rydd labels them and leaves them unselected.
One trip to Trash.
The app and each checked remnant move together, with a local privacy-safe receipt for the outcome.

The first beta is a signed, Apple-notarized, self-contained Mac app. Testing is private for now, so the app is not available to download from this website.
