Saga brings books, audiobooks, ratings, notes, and reading history into one calm native library—kept locally and shaped around you.
Cover art takes the lead in a clean, responsive grid. Open any title for ratings, status, notes, summaries, and the details that matter.
Browse by status, search instantly, sort the shelf, and move between books, insights, and audio without waiting on the web.

Bring Audible metadata into the same personal library, or add an audiobook yourself.
Keep your own status, stars, notes, summary, dates, and edition information.
Insights turns your reading history into something useful: current reads, yearly progress, reading frequency, favorite authors, format mix, and patterns that are hard to notice title by title.
Saga can complement your local library with Goodreads and Audible information. New titles and useful metadata come in; your own ratings, notes, and carefully edited details remain yours.
Audible syncing requires the Audible app from the Mac App Store and permission in macOS Privacy & Security. Saga explains the setup in Settings.
Keep Saga’s database in Application Support, choose another folder, or place it in a locally synchronized cloud folder so two Macs can use the same library safely.
A shared database is opened by one Mac at a time. Saga uses a lease lock and careful SQLite checkpointing so cloud storage does not turn convenience into a damaged library.
Choose Snow, Fjord, Pine, Cabin, or any custom accent. Match the sidebar or let it become glass. Avenir Next keeps the interface clear, with additional font choices waiting in Settings.
