Keep the useful part of the web.

Decide what travels with the page.

Open Skriv → Settings → Web Clipper to make these choices once and use them on every browser.

Import page images

Skriv safely downloads up to 16 webpage images and keeps them as managed note attachments.

Append the source

Keep a direct link back to the original page beneath the captured text.

Add default tags

Apply comma-separated tags automatically, including natural multi-word tags such as “to read.”

From browser to library

A web clip becomes a note you own.

Skriv places captures in a visible Web Clips folder as ordinary Markdown. Edit the note, move it, tag it, export it, or open the file in another app—the clip never depends on a hosted reading service.

First launch Your browser may ask permission to open Skriv the first time.
Cold launch safe If Skriv is closed, the clip waits until the app is ready and imports once.

Capture less noise. Keep more meaning.

Install Skriv, add the bookmarklet, and turn useful pages into portable notes.
